Senecaville Lake
Senecaville Lake, located in the southeast corner of Guernsey County and the northeast corner of Noble County, Ohio, Senecaville Lake forms a conservation pool for flood control, recreation, fish and wildlife, and for the maintenance of normal downstream flows during dry periods.
Directions
Senecaville Lake is approximately 6 miles east of I-77. At I-77 take
Exit 37 which is the Senecaville, Ohio/Senecaville Lake State Route 313
Exit. Take State Route 313 east to State Route 574. Turn Right/South on
State Route 574 until you cross Senecaville Lake Dam.
Boating
A Public
Launch ramp for the boating enthusiasts and fishermen is available near
the Senecaville Lake Dam year round. Horsepower limit at Senecaville

one marina located on the lake, which is operated by private enterprise.

Camping Camping
at Senecaville Lake is available through MWCD @ (740) 685-6013 or visit
their website @ www.mwcdlakes.com. Golden Age and Golden Access
passports are not honored at MWCD facilities, but adults over the age of
60 or those who have a Golden Buckeye Card receive a 10% discount.
Fishing Fishing
is permitted at the Senecaville Lake Dam Area and below the dam. No
fishing below the Dam February 15th. thru April 15th.
Picknicking
Picnic sites are available at the Seneca Lake Park. At the park, there
is a beach, picnic tables, and picnic shelters. For more information

swimming areas (one is within the park & one is by boat access). For
